Greek Letters Day – AHEPA Scholarship Luncheon – Sunday, January 27

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

On January 30th we celebrate the Three Hierarchs, St. Basil the Great, St. Gregory the Theologian and St. John Chrysostom. All three were learned men who dedicated their lives in serving God and His people through worship, teaching and philanthropy. They stand out as pillars of the Christian Faith and Lighhouses of Hellenic learning.

We will celebrate their memory and work on Sunday, January 27 through a Luncheon and Lecture after the Divine Liturgy. The Lecture will be given by Prof. Kathryn A. Kozaitis, Chair of Dept. of Anthropology at Georgia State University.

Through their memory, we celebrate Hellenic Learning and the Greek Language and Culture.

Proceeds from the Luncheon will go to the AHEPA Scholarship Fund.
