You are invited to the Spiritual Book Club meeting to be held at the home of Plutarch and Tina Vamvakias this Sunday, February 22, from 7:00pm till 9:00pm. Due to the fact that The Mountain of Silence has proved so popular for discussion, it was decided that we would use the same book again for the month of February. We will still be discussing Logismoi and strategies to diffuse them.
The book for the month of March is, “St. Nektarios, A Saint for our Century”, by S. Chondropoulos. The installation of the icon of St. Nektarios in our church in March will coincide with our reading of the life of this great saint. Copies are be available at our bookstore.
All Stewards of the Parish are invited to the Parish Assembly, which will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2009 immediately following the Divine Liturgy. The Assembly will be held in the Parish Life Center (Community Hall). A light lunch will be served for those attending. Please bring along the printouts mailed to you.

Wednesday Evening: Christmas Celebration, The Nativity of Christ
Christmas Vesperal Liturgy 5:30 pm, Vesperal Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great. (Holy Communion during this service)
A Christmas Reception will follow the Divine Services at the Church Hall.

The Birth of our Lord and God and Saviour Jesus Christ according to the flesh.
Orthros 9:00 am & Divine Liturgy 10:00 am.
This coming Saturday, December 20, we will celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Unction (the Healing Service) after the Great Vespers. Great Vespers will be celebrated at 5:00 pm and Holy Unction at 6:00 pm
We will celebrate the Feast of St. Nicholas this year with an Overnight Vigil on the Eve of the Feast (Friday, December 5). We will begin at 8:30 pm with the Vespers Service followed by the Orthros at 9:30 pm and the Divine Liturgy at 11:00 pm. We expect to finish around 12:30 pm.
Please join us for a very special liturgical experience.
The Prime Timers Christmas Party will be held at the Church Hall (Parish Life Center) on Sunday, December 7 starting at 5:00 pm with Apetizers. Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm followed by the Dance. The 2008 Philoptochos Christmas Party will be held on Monday, December 1st at the home of Tina Vamvakias. Please bring an unwrapped toy to donate to needy families. There will be a cookie swap. Bring a dozen of your favorite Christmas cookies to swap. Wrap the cookies with the recipe in your own special, CREATIVE way, so everyone can see the cookies. You will take home a dozen delicious “surpise” cookies! Please bring a Lenten dish according to the following schedule: Last names beginning A-D: Appetizers; E-H: Salads; J-R: Lenten Entrée & Sides; S-Z: Desserts.
To all Parishioners:
At the request of Metropolitan Alexios, a second tray will be passed this Sunday, October 5, 2008, for the victims of Hurricane Ike. The collection will be sent to the Metropolis of Atlanta to the attention of Mrs. Dee Nicolaou, Chairman of the “Disaster Relief Committee,” who will forward the moneys directly to
the Metropolis of Denver for assistance to the victims of the hurricane.
